Elixir Web Solutions have an excellent opportunity for you as a Senior Java Developer for one of leading global provider of retail and corporate banking, consumer finance, insurance and wealth management services

Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Gurgaon.

Job Description:

The candidate must have 5 + years of extensive industry experience. The selected candidate will be required to develop the individual components of java based projects. Technical resources from Java background are required to develop, build and implement the new Java software system solution. The Java solutions include J2EE and core java based systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling following tasks:

• Understand the Java solution architecture.
• Study and understand the business requirements and functional specs.
• Develop various Java˦ee based individual classes and components using best practices to meet various individual business requirements and functional specs.
• Build and deploy the Java code.
• Unit test developed components.
• Communicate issues and concerns to the Lead/ Project manager.
• Create technical documents for individual components developed.
• Participate & contribute in design discussions.

Key deliverables:

• Unit tested individual Java/J2EE components.
• Technical documents for the components developed such as :-
  • Sequence diagrams, LLD
  • Unit test cases and test logs

Essentials: Overall IT experience of 5-7 years (5+ in java)

Hands-on experience in:

• Spring (2 yrs)
• Struts (2-4 yrs)
• JSP, JSF and Servlets ( 5-6 yrs)
• Java Script, and AJAX (5-6 yrs)
• XML – JAXB, JAXP, DOM, XSLT (3-5 yrs)
• JDBC, SQL.(4-5 yrs)
• Java Interaction with Oracle/Sybase backend (5 yrs)

Technical Competence:

• Java Good (5+ yrs)
• ˦EE – Good ( 5 + yrs)
• Oracle Medium (3-5 yrs)
