Yahoo! Small Business is looking for an energetic and experienced who is passionate about building high volume, scalable, reliable and high performance services for the small business market. Our services help several hundreds of thousands of small business with billions of dollars of sales to get online, sell online and market online.

The services must be fast, secure, highly available, customizable and built to scale. This poses very interesting challenges with web technologies, storage systems, distributed programming, large-volume system architecture, abuse mitigation and security. A successful candidate must be passionate about his area of expertise, a fast learner, self-starter, and a skilled problem solver.

(Sr.) Front-end Engineer :

You should be passionate about building world class user experiences and have an expert command of Web client development and Web2.0 technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

Talent and passion for developing software with a mature and rigorous approach to program design.

Strong command of: HTML/XHTML standards, CSS, JavaScript (including JSON) and Document Object Model.

Ability at developing dynamic AJAX driven web solutions, cross-browser development practices and browser degradation strategies.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Experience with PHP and/or Perl scripting.
• Experience with YUI libraries.
• Proficiency with UI design practices, reusable component development and deployment.
• Fluency with UNIX, HTTP, Apache.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science with relevant work (7+ yrs for Senior) experience.
