Job Description:

The DTS Web Engineering Team is responsible for product management, engineering standards, and productivity initiatives across the firm. The team works in conjunction with other technology towers and LoBs to ensure that Web products are deployed around a set of standards and best practices that is integrated with the enterprise infrastructure.

We are looking for a Web Engineer who has a proven track record in Application & Web Server deployment and administration.

We expect you to have experience of:

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with any 2 of the Application and Web Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache, iPlanet, IIS, IHS)
• Deploying App/Web servers in a large enterprise.
• Installation and Configuration of Web/App servers.
• Network Products and Protocols (TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Intrusion Detection, DNS).
• Good understanding of Security standards.
• Implementing High Availability & Disaster Recovery options.
• Scripting languages – PERL and shell
• Exposure to at least one of the following operating systems – Linux; Solaris; AIX
• Exposure to industry recognized monitoring tools (For e.g. Tivoli OMXE)
• Any certifications are a plus.

It’s nice if you have:

• Experience of working on virtualized platforms.
• Knowledge of any provisioning tool (Opsware/GridApp)
• Software Packaging Solutions
