ABOUT THE CLIENT:
Our client is the pioneer and global leader of Vertical Media—a revolutionary new media model that connects premium brand advertisers with millions of consumers with like-minded passions online through large and growing vertical content networks: They have three products – the oldest one is online women lifestyle site, second one dedicated to men lifestyle and the newest offering is for those participating in real-time conversations on social media sites across the Web.
ABOUT THE POSITION: They are currently hiring for Senior Software Engineer Back End technologies
- You have around 5-6 years overall experience of which you have excellent HANDS ON experience with PHP 5
- Good Understanding of Java
- Good Understanding of MYSQL and Oracle
- Good Understanding of Linux (CentOS) programming environment
- Good Understanding of Content Management System (CMS) [Experience with Wordpress is a Plus]
- Good Understanding of PHP Framework [Experience with Zend Framework is a Plus]
- Basic Understanding of HMTL/CSS/Javascript
OTHER SKILLS:
- Understanding of Design Patterns
- Understanding of Object Oriented Programming
- A team player with excellent communication and leadership skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work independently
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, implement, maintain and improve innovative, cutting edge ad products and solutions. Our client is a leader in driving new innovations in the online display advertising domain, and this position will be a major force in the implementation of those innovations in the future. The work will span Web services, content serving, database integrations, API integrations, scaling, rich media development, front end coding and a lot more. The position requires you to be technically hands on currently.
