Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Naraina, New Delhi
Position Summary for PHP Profile
He/She will be a key member of development team. He/She will be responsible for requirment gathering, designing & coding, developer testing, UAT & implementation on various platform as the business
requirement. Participates in development, and design meetings as appropriate, to ensure that quality objectives are addressed at appropriate phases within the software development lifecycle.
The candidate will be also responsible to create conceptual document & detail designing of the business logic.
Must Have:
# 1+ year of in-depth experience in object oriented business application design and development.
# 1+ year solid PHP development experience.
# Major experience with web-based applications.
Essential duties & responsibility:
# Responsible for the design and development of application software as part of the product design and development team of application development projects on PHP.
# Will be required to prepare detailed technical design specs and implement/ code software components, interfaces and services based on these designs.
# Should be flexible to accommodate to various time zones and work effectively in/with a team constituting of members.
# Should be able to deliver in time with quality.
# Should be a good team player.
# Participate in project status meetings as required and provide project status updates with respect to work on hand.
Education and experience:
# Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MCA.
# 1+ years of relevant software development experience in PHP.
# Ability to work in a regulated environment.
# Experience in a fast-paced environment.
# Experience developing and analyzing code for a web-based application.
# Understands technical and functional design requirements.
# Assists in physical and logical database design.
# Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions.
Technical Skills:
# Programming expertise in C, PHP, HTML (without the help of an HTML WYSIWYG editor)
# Desired: Ability to work on web application architecture including: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Sendmail, Sessions, Background Processes, Resource Allocation and Apache along with solid experience – no exceptions!
# Good Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts, MS Office 97, 2000 & 2003.
# Experience in communication package (email).
# Advanced knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirements.
# Advanced knowledge of UNIX operating system (primarily Linux) and Apache.
# Good understanding of PERL and CGI protocols.
# Optional: Ability to work on Web design, HTML, WAP Technologies, MS Front Page.
# Key skills should include LAMP environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP… )
