Job Title: System Analyst / Technical Lead
Experience: 4 – 6
Location: Bangalore
Skills: My SQL DBA
Qualification: BE/ BSC/ MSC/BCA/MCA
Fulltime / Contract: fulltime
Description: –
Monitoring and administration of Mysql 5.0 Databases using MySql Enterprise.
Replication set ups and administration – Backup and retention policy implementation.
Database export/import, restoration and recovery – Setup and configure DRBD on the Servers.
SQL scripting – Exposure to PhpAdmin and MySql Admin utility for monitoring and administrating. -
Database Patch Application
Managing Database Jobs, parameter tuning
Troubleshooting database related issues
SQL Query Optimization, Rebuilding of Indexes
Analyzing/Validating Database segments – Collaborates w/ data modelers and facilitate interaction between DBAs and data modelers for logical and physical data models – Shell Scripting and automating the backup process – Willing to work in 24/7 shift
