Position - Sourcing Specialist / Material procurement specialist

External Job Description :
This position is for a Sourcing Specialist within Agilent’s Sourcing, Contracts, and Quality Organization (SCQ). This Sourcing Specialist will work globally with various business partners (IT,HR, and WPS) in support of a wide range of sourcing activities. The primary focus of this position will be working with Agilent’s IT organization specifically in the areas of hardware leasing and infrastructure outsourced services.

The specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Lead and/or support globally all aspects of the sourcing process (i.e. supplier selection, contract negotiation/creation/management) Create and facilitate RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, Administer hardware leasing contracts globally Provide operational level escalation support to business partners Negotiate sourcing agreements including renewals and restructuring of agreements and statement of works Coordinate and manage Global Sourcing’s contract repository and database, Corellian, to ensure adherence to audit requirements
Spend management reporting for all GS categories.

External Qualifications : Understanding of sourcing process and procedures is desired Consulting and influencing skills Solid skills and experience in negotiation Experience leading and supporting global activities Understanding of financial practices Proven project management and teamwork skills Excellent communication; both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to work across cultures and geographies Bachelors or University Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
